WHAT IS "OF GOATS AND MEN"? Of Goats and men (OGAM) is a home-made TTRPG. Focused on an era of combat called "Pike and Shot". Dominated by the use of muzzleloading muskets, but not yet in the era of bayonets or prevalent formations of musket-wielding combatants. Characters will be fighting as enlisted soldiers tasked with fighting their way through hordes of melee-focused adversaries (More to possibly come perhaps), trying to secure the continent of Brochia from further invasions of these Satyr-like adversaries. WHAT IS THE SETTING? OGAM is set in the world of Alpara. Where as of the moment, there are few known races, kingdoms or lands outside of continents like Cipara, and the sub-continent of Brochia. The majority race of this world are the "Eilvana". A race of elves of either brown or orange-hued skin. Along with some humans here and there. There's also the "genetically insane" races of Brochs. Such as Broch Orcs (Orcs with physically similarities to wild boars), Ancyrians (Satyr-like goat men prevalent in Brochia) and the almost extinct Swampmen (also in Brochia). Many other humanoids exist on the fringes of Cipara, but are not currently in-scope to the major conflict. There's been many wars waged against the Ancyrians on the sub-continent of Brochia. Every one of the previous 4 saw almost all of the Eilvana/Human inhabitants slaughtered completely, and the local landscape devastated, burnt and defiled as their armies march on. The 5th one, the current Ancyrian War, is no different. Though the modern fortresses stand strong in major cities on the coast, the inland and unfortified towns and villages currently suffer. The heroes of this war, the player characters, must venture as the vanguard of the liberation of Brochia. The main goal is to reach an area of devastation, volcanic mountains and jagged hills of barren rocks known as the "Brochanbir". And once again, seal all Ancyrians into the cave system that dominates its subterranean depths. HOW DO I APPLY?
