Does the 2024 D&D character sheet support compendium sharing?

I have a pro subscription, sharing the D&D 2024  players handbook.  My players can read the 2024 players handbook in their compendium, but they can only see  D&D 5th Edition SRD and Free Basic Rules (2024) in the character sheet. I can see all the new 2024 choices.

Hi Richard! Which sheet does your game use, 2014 or 2024? Is it on Classic or Jumpgate?
I enabled compendium sharing and 2024 character sheet on a game I was previously using with the DnD Beyond linking. The existing characters must be empty 2014 sheets though. The experiment was to create a brand new character.  I didn't know what Jumpgate was. Just looked it up and I did briefly try the beta changes to VTT, but disabled them because they broke the macros we were using.
I have jusr tried creating a new game using Jumpgate and the 2024 character sheets, sharing the 2024 PHB. A player entering the game can see the 2024 PHB classes in the in-game compendium, which have Create Character links. These links go to the new character creator, but don't show the 2024 PHB options, whereas if I go to the  character creator, I do see them.

The only beta changes now in Jumpgate are to the Compendium tab, AFAIK. As for empty 2014 sheets, at this point in time, 2014 sheets do not auto convert to 2024. I believe this is on the roadmap. Can you be a bit clearer on where your players are failing to see the 2024 compendium material? There are three places they should have access: The website compendium A game which uses the 5e compendium, has compendium sharing turned on and has greenlit the 2024 PHB During character creation using the 2024 sheet Character Builder, in-game or in Roll20 Characters. The 2014 sheet cannot use or see the 2024 material while in Charactermancer, though a player could build a 2024 character manually using copy and paste. Does this help any?
The website compendium works, showing the full new PHB. The in-game compendium works, showing PHB 2024 versions of character classes. The new game uses 2024 only, though not yet with any characters. Three methods of creating a character using the new sheet (sheet_shortname=dnd2024byroll20) do not work. 1. Click on Create character from in-game compendium for 2024 character class. 2. Click on Build a new character from  app.roll20.net/characters/sheet/<number>?sheet_shortname=dnd2024byroll20 3. Edit Sheet Directly from  app.roll20.net/characters/sheet/<number>?sheet_shortname=dnd2024byroll20 . Only 2 (free, identical) subclasses are shown, where I see 6: The compendium next to the character sheet shows only free content, where I also see the PHB. E.g. Only the free versions of classes are listed:
I have finally solved this, by spotting the 4th method of  creating a character using the new sheet. The above 3 don't work. You have to create the character from within the actual game (assuming it is both sharing the 2024 PHB compendium and using the 2024 D&D character sheet) as follows: Go to the Journal tab within the game itself and use the +Character button. Name it and Save Changes. The character tool will now be shown and it will let you access all the new material. For example, all the new subclasses.
I'm having a different problem. The Charactermancer is ONLY showing 2024 character creation. I want to build a character using the DM's compendium material for 2014, as that's what the game is using. When I try to create a new character, all I see is 2024. The DM, when looking at my character sheet, sees 2014. Is there a setting I can change?

Hi Satoriasis! More information might be helpful. Are you building your character within the GM's game, or are you building it in Roll20 Characters? Have you checked for duplicate sheets in the game? (Your GM will probably need to be the one to check this). It's also unclear if you are seeing 2024 information in the compendium options, or if you are looking at the 2024 sheet itself. Screen shots might be helpful. It should not be possible for a sheet to present as the 2014 sheet to one person and the 2024 sheet to another, so I suspect something more complicated is going on.
