This old world has seen a lot in the last few centuries.
Horrors and wonders in equal measure have been visited upon the planet and its
inhabitants but now the greatest threat has been unleashed. The Xiticix: Alien
and unknowable bug-men from beyond space and time could well engulf the world
and everything that calls it "home". As the war for the survival of
all life on Earth begins, the kingdom of Lazlo leads the charge. Steeped in
magic, they are perhaps the best suited to finding an end to the horrible invasion.
There are tactics to test; tactics that, if they prove useful, could mean
salvation for the people of Earth. The Devouring Horde is not so easily
dissuaded from its own dreams of conquest, though. This is a Savage Rifts
campaign set in the Hivelands of North America. Originally published by
Palladium Books, Rifts is a world of high tech war machines and supernatural
forces sharing a world transformed by magic into a hub for a megaverse of
infinite possibilities. Players will take on the role of mercenaries and
would-be heroes as they try to find a way to make a surgical strike against the
heart of a hive while surviving to tell the tale. Characters will started out
more experienced, although players of any experience are welcome to play and
