There is a lot to get through here so please go with me on this. I'm UK based and only speak English but welcome all who can communicate in said language. Schedule The game will be played Weekly between 7pm- midnight GMT on a Tuesday or Wednesday due to other commitments. If we can play any additional nights it will be a group choice. I am aiming to start the campaign in Mid October with an initial character creation night a week to ten days before. Commitment Nothing hard to understand ere...if you can't commit to regular sessions please don't apply! This may well become a very long running campaign of over 1yr...who knows maybe even longer. So the team i'm putting together needs the same commitment to it that I will bring. Hard Core or Gentle Repose If the above has not already put you off applying then you probably are a reasonable candidate so a little about play style. I game for fun and that's what I want my players to have. I've been a GM/DM for over 30yrs and have a ran campaigns with pretty much every system out there. This will be a very relaxed linear style campaign but with no dickin around. I expect jokes and Humor and light messing about but this will not be AQ. INC. (GREENFLAME!). No one will be allowed to roll play as an STD an infect the local population, we stick to the game. New Players I hope your not put off. Look! we all start somewhere and I'm happy for new players to apply but this group will need a mix of experience as well so I would expect any seasoned gamer who joins to help me to help newbies. I have designed the start to be less intense so as to ease folks into the experience gently. More experienced gamer's will just add flavor to the start for you newbies. The Campaign The setting for the Campaign is the forgotten realms mostly around the Sword Coast and I will use a number of resources both old and new to bring it to life. With a mix of both Dungeon,Urban and Wilderness settings there is scope for all kinds of PC builds. If you guys want role-play we can do that, if your more into thrashing through the campaign for exp. then that's fine too. I may be the narrator but the game belongs to us all. Rules as Written We will be using the new 5th Ed. rules. I have no problem with rules lawyers joining...mostly you guys make my life easier..and 5thE is pretty rules lite. All options will be open for use though there may be 1 or 2 rule tweaks. The only thing I insist on is not debating rules in game. There are always occasion when a rule just don't cut the mustard. In situations where a rule call is needed Then I make it ...we can discuss later the rights and wrongs and I think that's fair. Whats Needed OK, you guys need the basic rules and you need to have read through them a few times not just flicked through(you can download the Basic Rules PDF from Wizards of the Coast). You need to be on Skype and have a working headset. No need for web cams as who wants to see my ugly visage! ROLL20. Ok time to admit that this will be my first time ever DM'ing over the Internet but I hope hope this is ok. I've put in a lot of hours on roll20 learning stuff so this post is only going up because i am confident i can deliver. Still Interested? Right!, what I need you to do is send me a PM with your details. Age/Location/Experience/Reason you would like to join and 2 Character classes you would like to play in order of preference. For e.g Age:45 Loc:UK Exp: 30+ yrs DM + player I Wanna try 5th Ed. Cleric 1st/ Barbarian 2nd Reply I'm gonna reply to all messages sent but please be patient. Thanks for reading Kind Regards DM Ken.
