Add Image to Bio & Info

I am really confused how to add a image to the Bio & Info for a NPC I am trying to Create.  1. I have tried to copy and paste the image from the file on my desktop. 2. I have tried to open in paint, select all and copy and paste that way. 3. I have uploaded the image to My Library in Roll20 and tried to drag and drop.  There is also no copy when I right click from My Library. I can get the image to load when I am editing but every time after I save,  all I get is a white box with a black outline when I go to view changes. The file is a 1024x1024 .JPG.  Is there some hidden size limit?
There is a size limit of 20mb per file for Pro users (10mb for free users) but I can't really see a 1024x1024 .jpg going over that amount.   I pretty much always just drag-and-drop images onto character sheets from my computer, and I don't have much of an issue. A few troubleshooting questions: Which browser are you using? Have you tried another browser? Have you tried using incognito/private browsing window?  Have you tried disabling browser extensions?  Have you tried logging out of Roll20 and back in?  Are you able to post the image into another image sharing service (such as Imgur) or into the forums here? I'm wondering if the file is corrupted in some way.

Hi Axiom! Copy and paste won't work, the way Roll20 is structured. It needs to be an image from your art library. You should be able to upload the image to Roll20, and then drag the image from the Art Library onto the Avatar section of your sheet while it is in edit mode. Clicking the little image at the very top middle of your character sheet will put it in that mode. Then darg the image onto the avatar section, just like normal. When you save changes, the avatar image should display in the portrait area of the sheet.
Thanks for the reply Keith but I am trying to add a image into the Bio and Info section.  The Avatar box is pretty easy to use.  Putting a image onto the Bio & Info is strange though because for example if I want to add a image to a players handout it is super easy - not sure why it has to be different in the Bio section.

Ah, sorry I misunderstood. It should work like other images on Roll20. If you copy and paste, it must be from a source that is already online in some form. You cannot copy from an image whose source is local to your computer. I have just tested to make sure nothing has changed. This screen shot shows an image from my ibrary (the token), an image copied from the web (the DrivethruRPG logo, copied from their website), and a broken image for the one copied and pasted from Photoshop on my computer. The last of these will display while still in edit mode, but will not survive the save process. This is how handouts and character journals work, as well as images on the forum. (Forum images will accept drag and drop from the local OS, but not copy and paste).
Thank you! great answer - linking from the web works!
