Turn off dice rolling/sending info to chat?…

I game with long time friends and we are preparing to migrate our 5e sheets here from that other place. We all like (and trust each other) rolling analog, and I noticed it is quite easy to “accidentally” roll from the sheet/send info to chat, etc. Any way to toggle this feature off?…

HI RPGeezer! You can toggle chat on and off with the command /talktomyself. I'm not sure if that would solve your needs, since it doesn't stop the local echo, and keeps you from using the chat for anything, including API scripts.
Thanks Keith. To be clear, each player would have to do that individually, I assume? No way to set that globally?…
Another option would be to adjust the ' core dice roll ' on your PC sheets. The trick I link to there is one where you can substitute an in-person dice roll for whatever would normally be digitally rolled by Roll20. Since there is a query popup, then if a player accidentally clicks on a roll from their character sheet, they have the option to just close the popup box and nothing will show up in chat.  Or you can choose to have them input their physical die roll and display the result in chat.
