[LFP] [Free] [18+] Where Evil Lives [Homebrew] [Tuesday 11:30 am EST] [D&D 5e]

Hey, we are running Where Evil Lives as a combat focused, homebrew classes allowed, fun experience with a great group of people. We have a few players unable to make the coming games due to work obligations. I am willing to work with you in creating your character. We are currently level 6. Name:   Discord: Age [18+]: Experience with D&D 5e and Roll20:   I have very early to mid 2000s sense of humor, think Dave Chappelle. I run a very open and honest table where we express ourselves freely, while accepting everyone who is chill. We are 18+ for a reason. Would you be ok with playing in such an environment?   Any questions or concerns you may have?   .

Name:  Jon/Joter Discord: Joter Age [18+]: 24 Experience with D&D 5e and Roll20:  About 6 years with D&D 5e, Roll20 about 4-5 years  Would you be ok with playing in such an environment?  Yeh I don't really have problems with that at all Any questions or concerns you may have? A main question is how the game is run, I'm curious about "Where Evil Lives" if it's a series of dungeons' going from one to the next or does it have a cohesive story to join together. Or are you simply using the rules to aid in the formation of a dungeon. I would be interested if it doesn't seem like a number of one off dungeons one after the next, the wording of "combat focused" seems to push this
Name: Bard .... James Bard Discord: Fallse1102  Age [18+]: 50+  Experience with D&D 5e and Roll20:   Lots DM & Player ---- Mostly DM lately  I would love to do something like this - I am very aware of how to balance classes and pets and items - as I allow lots of homebrew in my games. I am thinking an aristocratic Wizard Bladesinger with a Quasit pet that can do Healing Word at will or the equivalent as DPS based on my characters spell to hit.  Better to message me here than on Discord - I only ever use Discord for games.  Best, James
To answer a few questions, there is a loose story that connects each dungeon to the next but it is not story focused. Combat is front and center but roleplaying is encouraged if you are comfortable with that. This will be a series of One-Shots tied together loosely with a main hub. This game is my "fun" group where I run challenging combat encounters.
I'd still be interested then, discord is Joter as above. Currently got two ideas knocking about: Either a Dhanpir Ranger who just wants to slay evil beings as to not upset others and thus can kill freely without reprise. Or a Granny who is looking for her missing Adventurer grandchildren after she got no response, looking through the different dungeons to track where they may have gone or checking what may have killed them.
