How do you set up a 5e game? (2024 PCs, jumpgate & old modules)

Hi all, Maybe I'm missing a trick here or Jumpgate is just not ready yet. Anyway I want to set up a Curse of Strahd game but use the 2024 sheets and understand Jumpgate needs to be used. I've mucked around with settings so can now pull monsters from the compendium as 2014 sheets instead of blank tokens so that's sorted. The bit I'm stuck at is every map with NPC tokens pre setup in the campaign is bust and opens as 2024 sheets wanting me to make a new character. It seems to preserve the bio information etc but wipes the damn character sheet.

Hi Steve! Since nearly all modules were built using the 2014 sheet, my advice is to create the module using 2014 as the base sheet, and then add the 2024 sheet as the extra. This gives many benefits. NPCs will be created using the 2014 sheet Scripts that don't necessarily need to interact with the PC sheet will still work All of the Token Action Buttons on NPCs will still work The 2014 sheets are absolutely easier to read for NPCs than the 2024 sheets

Note: Time of writing, under no circumstance switch the base sheet and the alt sheet in the settings. You WILL lose data.
Ah thanks Keith, that sorted it. I'd made it the game with the 2024 character sheet and making a new one with 2014 sheet then adding the 2024 worked fine.
