The font's bold doesn't work.

As the title says, the boldface will not run since Roll20 updated it about a month ago. It's the same if I write it in bold, or if others write it in bold.

Hi, 燈臺! Can you give some more detail? Which font? On a character sheet, if so which one? In a handout? In the forum? In chat, using markdown? On the VTT when adding a text object? What have you tried (be specific, please), what did you expect to happen, and what actually happened? Screenshots might be helpful, as well.

Hello! To be exact with the symptoms, I can't see the boldface when I wrote **font**. I can't see the same boldface when I wrote **font**, when someone wrote **font**. I guess it's when I used markdown in the chat.

I take it that you mean an entry like this is not working for you? If that's the case, since I have not seen it reported anywhere and can't reproduce it, I assume that either we are still talking about different things, or something is interfering on your browser, possibly an extension or font issue. Does the problem persist in a private browsing window, or in a different browser?

Does your message contain a line break in the middle of the section supposed to be bolded, by any chance? That breaks the formatting, so This is **a bolded message that doesn't work** doesn't work, but this This **bolded message** **on the other hand,** does work does.

Good point. Line breaks interrupt markdown.

Oh, I think I've solved this problem. I don't know why, but the ad block  extension on the browser seems to have stopped the **bold markdown.**
