Token Action Macros D&D 2024 Character Sheet

Sorry if this has been answered already, but I have not been able to find answer to this question. Is there an easy way to make token actions in the 2024 sheet? I get that there are not any token action maker scripts yet, but with every other sheet  I am aware of (including the 2014 sheet within the same game), there is an easy shortcut to make a button on the character sheet a token action. For example, you want a token action for your main attack. You go to the sheet, click your attack. Then, go to the chat box, hit the "up" arrow key on your keyboard, this will populate character sheet code language in the chat box. You select this, copy it, then paste it as a macro. Voila, you now have a token button you can use to call that attack roll from your sheet. Currently, the "up" arrow doesn't populate the code. So, how do I get the code from my attack (or other button) to make a macro?
The short answer is no , there is no easy way to create Token Action macros on Beacon sheets.   Unfortunately Beacon sheets work very differently than legacy sheets, and there is a lot that is still in development, and a lot that is obfuscated from players.

I don't have much to add to Jarren's answer other than that the issue is known to the developers and they are working on it. I don't anticipate that there will be anything like the up-arrow solution that sends you code. My guess is that there will eventually be a way to call sheet actions using the &{name|ability} syntax or something similar. I don't have high hopes that we will see the level of customization we have grown used to.
Is the intent that all future sheets will be Beacon sheets? Will the old sheets be converted?  Any idea why the conversion? Is there some upside to Beacon?

It's all pretty up in the air since Demiplane was acquired. My total guess is that somehow in the future, sheet development will be done by Demiplane. They are a much newer company with technology that is not as encumbered by dozen-year-old legacy choices. I anticipate that at some point in the future, there will be tighter integration between the two sites, maybe even seamless. I only know that Beacon has a shorter development time and allows for some capabilities that were difficult to impossible for the old sheets. What that might be, I have no clue. The 2014 sheet is really a nightmare code wise. One of the very oldest sheets, it has been patched, hacked and run through dozens of developers and teams. And not to make light of the real frustration people are feeling, but folks tend to forget that the 2014 sheet didn't arrive overnight. That sheet has been under continuous development since its inception, and the bits and piece (like Charactermancer, for example) did not arrive for years. Charactermancer Level Up took a lot longer to come into being than the Builder Level Up. In a D&D ecosystem that is at least an order of magnitude more complex. Comparatively, this sheet is undergoing lightning development. We just happen to be in the early days.
That's a fair point.  D&D isn't my main game. I am more concerned about other games. For example, I have FFG Star Wars game using the user coded tools. Even with that, its hundreds of hours of work from me inputting NPCs and setting up macros for my players. I would hate for that to all get erased.  Without those tools the game would be virtually unplayable on roll20.

I don't see any more Beacon sheet conversions in the foreseeable future. I think that the legacy sheets have diminished return for the amount of effort it would take (and the amount of frustration this would likely cause among users). I also don't foresee any legacy sheets going away. That would hamstring Roll20, which has well over a thousand sheets, mostly Community or publisher created.
That's a relief! Thank you for the info!
