“The noble and powerful tax what they want from you, sculpting reality at their whim. Right now, you might feel like there’s a Tarrasque on your backs, but that’s where we come in. We’re the rogues that makes sure they don't give you the last laugh. We provide…counterweight. Hey! I’m looking for 4 players for a free one-shot with the possibility of turning out into a paid campaign. The idea is to playtest to a little heist structure I devised expanding on the “Here’s to Crime” material from DM’s Guild. There will be capers, rogues to be loveable, rich bastards to screw over, and the game will be focused on roleplay and character competency and planing. The setting will be largely informed by your backstory, but a few touchstones include: -Eberron -Planescape -Dragon Age: Absolution -Styx: Master of Shadows -Blades in The Dark -Lies of Locke Lamora -Six Of Crows -Mistborn -Ocean’s 11 -Leverage Tools used: Roll20 and Discord for voice chat, with occasional alternatives on Streamyards. It is important to know that combat should be avoided and encounters might end when the table agrees the winning side is clear (TPKs would also be avoided, but prison breaking or purgatory breaking are also fun!). I'm a experienced GM with almost 10 years of experience and while my jam is mostly story games and Forged in The Dark, I do make part of a local game design collective and want to try this material with some English speakers and know people overseas :) You can find my discord at “monocores” or “monocores#9775"
