After a two-year hiatus I am back! I am looking to put together a group of 4-6 players who can, preferably play weekly, at the very least bi-weekly to play Old-School Essentials . I have been a GM/Player for forty-two years. In that time I have grown as a GM and would like to think I am pretty good at it. I like to describe things and have the players add to the narrative. I like to roleplay, but also like combat, puzzles, and a fun story. My games include maps, dynamic lightning, automated environments, rollable tables, equipment compendiums, macros to help mange things and much more. What am I looking for in a group of players? Commitment. Show up, if not, give me a heads up. If there's a problem, let me know privately. Maturity. Treat others with respect. Knowledge. Be competent with the rules. You don't have to memorize them, but you need to know the basics. Creativity. Be prepared to help add to the narrative by describing actions, outcomes and environments. Problem-Solving. Throwing dice is fun, but interacting with NPCs and monsters is fun too. There is more than one way to accomplish a task. When creating a character, don't write up three pages of background. It most likely will not fit into my game world. I suggest that characters have 3-5 bullet points (background, goal, secret, etc). Characters will have at least one connection, possibly more, with others character in the party. Availability: Mondays: **Not available** Tuesdays: I have a commitment 2nd Tuesday of the month Wednesdays: Open Thursdays: Open Fridays: Open Saturdays: Open but prefer not to play unless its in the evening. Sundays: ** Not available** Any questions, post them.
