How do I add a character to a game I'm in, and not being able to add 2024 options in charactermancer

2 questions: 1. I created a new character on roll20 under tools and my characters. Then I tried adding the character to the game. I click on the "add to game" button on the character, select game, but the game I'm in does not show up. And apparently three out of my four dms do not know how to do this because their games I'm in do not show up either lol. They made a new character for me in their game, creating and leveling up through charactermancer, but that leads me to another problem: 2. I cannot select the 2024 options in the charactermancer. The compendium in the specific game has the 2024 rules, but I cannot select them when creating a character in game with the charactermancer. Cannot select 2024 specific version of a class, and dragging and dropping from the compendium does nothing.

Hi Nicholas! To answer your questions: 1. A GM has to specifically allow character transfers for you to be able to move a character into their game. This is on their game's settings page. Note that this is actually a game owner  choice, so if the GM is a promoted GM, they will need to contact the owner. The same goes for creating characters in a game. 2. "Charactermancer" is a feature of the 2014 sheet. If you are using the 2014 sheet, it will not have access to 2024 features. The 2024 sheet uses the "Character Builder". If you are indeed using the character Builder on a 2024 sheet, then you will need to check that the GM has turned on 2024 sources in Sharing settings.
