Skies Above Play Test

Hello folks! My name is Andy I'm an illustrator and ttrpg designer from Scotland. I'm looking to put together a test play group or two for my current game project Skies Above. This would likely be Wednesdays or Thursdays from 7pm UK Time. About the Game Skies Above is a captivating Tabletop Role Playing Game (TTRPG) that draws heavy inspiration from the enchanting world of Japanese Role Playing Games (JRPG). It channels the spirit of classic titles like those in the Final Fantasy series—especially the beloved entries from the Super Nintendo/Famicom era—as well as iconic games such as Dragon Quest, Secret of Mana, Grandia, and Lunar, with a sprinkle of Legend of Zelda magic. Set against a backdrop of a post-apocalyptic world, Skies Above defies the typical dark and dreary connotations of such settings. Instead, it presents a lively realm brimming with vitality, intrigue, growth, and abundance. This is a land infused with magic, ancient technologies, and forgotten locales, where vast skies stretch above, concealing countless secrets behind the clouds. The gameplay mechanics in Skies Above are primarily based on rolling a d8 and adding modifiers from various attributes and bonuses to meet or exceed a target number (TN). This TN can vary depending on the task's complexity or if another character is involved in the challenge.
I am only available Thursdays, but would love to check it out! Short bit about me: Am a DM for ages and love it (I currently run two games and one is Wednesday thus its impossible for me to do Wednesday!) well above 25 and if I'm not called DM I go by Rose.  I love stressing about character creation and trying to figure out what kind of rogue I should go for (ironically yes, in D&D I just love rogues though I dabbled in Warlocks, Rangers and Druid) So I really tend to go for characters that can perform a sort of scout duty, I love not feeling safe I guess. Sneaking ahead knowing everything can go wrong any second is just fun!
Hi Rose! Thanks for reaching out, if I can get two or three more players for Thursdays then we can get the ball going! I'll DM you a link to the WIP PDF for the game and you  can have a look through the character options!
