Overall my goal is to bring together a group of like-minded individuals who enjoy the depth and flexibility of Pathfinder 1e. All while exploring the Minor Gestalt ruleset, to offer a unique way to build versatile and multi-faceted characters. If you’ve never tried Minor Gestalt before, don’t worry—it’s an exciting alternative system that opens up new possibilities for character creation, and I’d be happy to introduce it! You can find more information here: Minor Gestalt VTT To ensure our campaign is as smooth and immersive as possible, I’d like to suggest using Foundry VTT as our virtual platform of choice. For those familiar with Foundry, you know it’s an incredibly immersive and powerful tool for hosting tabletop RPGs. Its dynamic lighting, interactive maps, and integrated audio features create a rich environment that enhances storytelling and gameplay. Any potential Dungeon Masters are especially welcome if they have experience running games on Foundry or are open to exploring its capabilities.
However, I want to emphasize that this is a preference rather than a requirement. If necessary, playing on Roll20 can also be ideal for all involved in this group. Both platforms have their strengths, and I’m open to whatever works best for the group. Optional To add even more variety and excitement to the campaign, I’ll like to suggest incorporating additional systems if the group is interested: Elephant in the Room : - To simplify character progression and reduce some of the complexity around feats, I suggest using these optional rules. They make building characters more streamlined while still providing plenty of new options. Spheres of Power/Might : - This third-party system introduces new mechanics, powers, and classes that expand what’s possible in Pathfinder 1e. It’s a fantastic way to shake things up and explore fresh ideas for both characters and encounters. If you’re familiar with Spheres or curious about trying it out, we can definitely include it! If not, no problem—sticking with Paizo’s core materials is just as enjoyable. Ultimately, these systems are meant to enhance the experience without overwhelming anyone. I’m suggesting these options for those who have experience with them and wish to find those who enjoy these systems. The same goes for Dungeon Masters looking to incorporate monsters or enemies that utilize these mechanics. And lastly a message to Our Dungeon Masters If you’re a Dungeon Master with a campaign idea in mind—whether it’s homebrew or based on published material—I’d love to hear from you! I’m particularly interested in those who are open to running campaigns where players have opportunities for deeper customization, all while maintaining balance through engaging combat encounters and designing a variety of unique enemies. This could be a great fit for you! Of course, for those who prefer to keep things simpler with Paizo-only materials, that works wonderfully too.
