GM Looking, Eclipse Phase One-shot to campaign, anytime b/t Sat Oct 4 to Mon Oct 7 (3p to midnight Texas time)

Hello all. I'm a player/GM seeking a decent role play. What I have in mind is starting with a simple module in the setting that could most likely be completed in around three hours. Given enough player interest, we can go from there into something weekly or bi-weekly. I have sample characters available if this garners enough new players or those that don't care for creation. R20 preferred, heavily text-based and I want to adopt a mentality of common-sense tops mechanics crunch. Game mechanics exist as guidelines. I posted the timeframe between Oct 4 to 7 because it's a big weekend for me and the best time to try to sort an initial/one-shot out. Ok, so, here's the hook: you were drinking, shagging, or just chilling on a big scum barge on your way to Planetary Consortium controlled Mars when you receive a message from an anonymous contact. It seems that your shenanigans or personal problems have to be put aside because you're the only egos available that can track down a fool bartering a canister of antimatter; the deal's going down NOW. Ever see the shit antimatter can DO? Gear up and get on with it, ya grok.
Bump. Really? No interest...?
I think its the play time man. You have it listed as a 9 hour one shot game. Most people can not nor do they want to game 9 stright hours.
Count me in, depending on schedule. I love EP, have all the books, run it myself and may end up running it here sometime.
Oh dear. Forgive me. I was working on condensing the title all the relevant details (like the forum guide advised) and didn't realize people would read it as nine straight hours! Basically I mean to game minimum three hours, and that I'm free between 3pm and midnight. Firepart: awesome, you sound like me, lol. PM me?
Sounds like fun, would love to try it if you'll have a noob to EP. Have lot of table experience just not with this game but am a quick learner!
Hey Warthog. I would actually prefer a "noob," heh. Most players I've met tend to be difficult.
Any more slots left? And also, any idea of the exact time, I am free today and tomorrow.
Wow, people are coming left and right. Slots won't be an issue, you're good. What's your exp like? Ok, so I will say let's shoot for Tuesday?
What is the ruleset again?

I would guess as its an eclipse phase game it would be the eclipse phase ruleset. The OP has not said otherwise and its always a good guess they mean the native system unless they say otherwise.
Ruleset? Eclipse Phase... only stipulations were I wanted to pass out the sample characters for the short module. Assuming how everyone feels after we run that, we can plan for a longer-running campaign and make our own characters. So nothing extravagant and a painless as possible rp, heh.

I would be interested in playing as well, depending on when the time would be.
There are a bunch of pregens at this point 20 at lest. I think someone compiled them. I also would be down for this depending on the day that is set.
I work overnight weekends, so I have most week nights off. Given that I will be putting kids to bed, I can start roughly about 7 or 8 PM Central time?? Does this agree or conflict with the schedules of others interested?
Hey guys. I'm glad this has garnered some interest. esampson: Glad you're interested! Shannon: yes, there's plenty of samples to start with! Firepart: I always have Sunday and Monday night off. So if it's one of those nights I will make myself free at seven or eight, if that's the latest you are free. Let's see what the others can figure out. Since there has been a fair amount of replies, I want to state that the player slots can span from three to five, with four being ideal for the first mod.
Do we even know what night of the week we want to do this? I am best with nights during the week given work schedule and family. Anyone else have a preference?
