Time : 6 to 9 PM central time Game : Hearts of Odium (similar ish to D&D) Fantasy with magic. Trying for rules medium, so enough rules so you know what to do, but not so much that you have to stay looing everything up. Software : Roll20 + Discord Alpha : Been in alpha testing since august 2024. Players : I currently have 2 players I've been playing with for years. We are a super chill group. The game is to the point that we need more players. Looking For : A player that can show up. And is ok with small rule changes as i make small adjustments to the game. Looking for 1 or 2 new players. Gameplay : Right now I'm testing travel and adventure. But i will be testing other gameplay types such as horror, mystery, heist, and so on. Characters : For now characters are made for you. But i can make any character you would like. Game Rating : We mostly keep it around PG to PG13. Not opposed to R content, we just tend to gravitate toward PG to PG13.
Hi there! Is this going to be a game where we get in involved in a story or is it purely testing a game system?  Thanks!
It's a full game, with story and combat. The players aren't knowingly testing things.
I also make tabletop systems and games so I am interested in this Do you have any aspects of the system you are willing to share? Like what made you want to make it?  Just curious.
I'm testing my philosophies on system design, training, and culture management. I spent alot of time in management, training, and systems. So I wanted something is could test my ideas with. As for the game. I'm studying the tabletop community so that I can try to meet all it's needs in one system. So I want it to be able to do anything other ttrpgs can do while also adding things it seems the community needs. So if you played a ttrpg you should easily be able to jump into this one. It is simular to D&D, with some story based game mechanics added in. And I'm trying to put phycology in it with out forcing it, which has been difficult. And I have big focus on easy to use GM Tools. Based on GM styles.
Not trying to be vague. It's just hard to put the system into words. Elevator pitch: Simplified D&D with narrative tools and better sub systems.
And a solo system that is designed to teach you to GM in multiple styles.
