Hi Dungeon Masters and Fears of Monsters and Foes! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play PnP for a while now, due to the lack of interested people in my surroundings and some work-related pressure. But as I am more free again now, I would love to try this forum to look for new connections and player groups to have exciting and (more or less) heroic adventures with! So far, I have played some The Dark Eye , D&D (though an absolute novice), and Shadowrun (5e). I have also watched tons of Call of Cthulhu sessions, as I really love the setting and the mechanics. And I have lead a campaign in Vampire: The Masquerade myself. So there is a little bit of experience here, and that's also the kind of systems I would love to play with. But I am also open for other stuff like Warhammer, though completely oblivious to the rules and setting. Personally, I prefer a roleplaying kind of playstyle , playing and embodying the character in question (without costumes, rather through mindset and perspective), but that's not a must have. I am mainly interested in experiencing funny or memorable stories, and great moments with interesting players. Also, I am looking for groups who have an inclusive mindset . Aspects like racism, homophobia, misogyny and stuff should not be part of your mindset. They may appear in the game, if needed (e.g. if the setting or the scenario require it; Cthulhu and VtM can be full of such things, right?), but players themselves should have a common understanding on such topics. Though I am pretty sure this is an easy one, as roleplayers in general tend to be very open minded. I am German, but perfectly capable of conversing and playing in English. It just might be that for some detailed description I'm reaching for vocabulary that's not part of my daily scope of words. I have never played in an English-speaking group, though, so this would be an interesting opportunity - and definitely something I'm up for. Time-wise, I am currently very flexible (until May '25) , so I should be available every day after 7pm (GMT+1) . I am interested in one-shots, but if everyone is vibing, I would also be open for long-term committments and thus larger adventures. I would also join groups with new players who just want to start and learn the game. Chances are high that I am not completely familiar with the most recent version of rules anyway.
