there is a problem with the map page of ROLL20.

Hi, I'm playing ROLL20 with chrome and Firefox. However, the map page of ROLL20 keeps lagging for the last two to three months. To be precise, the map page suddenly disappears while playing the game. All images placed on the map layer and the GM layer disappear, and images placed on the token layer may disappear or remain depending on the size. If you turn off ROLL20 and try to enter the game room again when you have this symptom, it takes infinite loading and you won't be able to enter the game room. The only way to resolve this symptom is to go into a different browser. Has anyone experienced the same symptoms?

Hi 燈臺! I haven'r run into this, and I don't think I've seen it reported, either. I can suggest some things to try, though: If you have a huge number of maps, you could try offloading them to a  Library Campaign , using the Transmogrifier. By huge, I mean hundreds. You could try deleting cache and cookies. If you have this problem under multiple browsers, this is not likely to solve it, but it's possible. You can try running for a while under a private browsing/ingognito window. This might eliminate most extension conflicts as a culprit. If all of those fail, I would suggest capturing a  Console Log ( Chrome , Firefox ) and filing a  Help Center Request .

I recommend always launching Roll20 games in an Incognito / Private Browsing window. It eliminates lots of problems caused by caches, extensions, etc.,  I use my normal Chrome window just for these forums.
