Hello all, i'm Matt/Matty, I'm a 31 y/o queer transman looking for a truly inclusive group to play D&D with. I've had... very bad experiences with both groups I've been in before, but I really love the game so I hope to find a good group now- third time's the charm as they say. I've been playing 5e for about 9 years*- but was never really taught how, I just got thrown into it and have been mostly flying by the seat of my pants, so I would ask for a bit of patience if I don't know how something works right off. *I have been playing Pathfinder for the last almost 3 years but was again not taught how it really worked and I still don't grasp most of it- and it was the last game I played with my previous group so currently i'm not really looking to play it again, but if I find a group that meshes well and they were to eventually want to play it, it is a down the road option :) I really want to play a game with deep story and some good RP, where characters will have full arcs and if there's character death it actually matters and is a dramatic, poignant thing. I am fine with heavy themes in stories/campaigns and am completely down for homebrew insanity as well. I'm currently a DM of Curse of Strahd and am working on a homebrew of my own, another reason i'm trying to find a group- to avoid becoming forever DM ^^; I'd like to be able to talk on discord with the group, whether it's for calling for the session instead of using roll20s voice, or for doing out of game/in between session rp, or anything else. It's not a necessity but it's a preference.  I am in the Atlantic Standard Time zone and am looking for a Friday game. I can play as early as lunch time and go til around 10-10:30PM before I get old man tired and need to go to bed.  I feel like i've rambled a lot but hopefully got the main points out.  TLDR i guess: looking for a friday night 5e game that's big on story and rp.
