Spawn Default Token - Custom Status Markers

I am trying to use Spawn Default Token to spawn a token and then put a custom Status Marker on it.

I did find a thread from a few years ago where someone else was having an issue and David talked about how the :: in the custom status marker would not work and that he was thinking about a way to get around that (like his % for commas).

Does anyone know if this was completed and how I would now add a custom statusmarker?

Btw, if anyone else is looking to use custom statusmarkers with Spawn Default Token, David was nice enough to edit the code and create this test version to do it.  So far it is working great for me.
