LFM - D&D 0e Sunday 12pm to 6pm CST

Our regular games are usually on Wednesday, however I will be running a different module this coming Sunday with a few of the players and more are needed. More are also needed for the Wednesday games if you find the experience enjoyable. A bit about D&D 0e, and the Planet Eris Campaign: The Planet Eris Campaign was started by a guy named Jimm Johnson in Austin TX and after a few years of running games in the area, a group of about 5 to 10 players decided to run their own modules with their own groups. I was one of those players, but instead of just setting up a game in Austin I'm bringing the experience to you and the rest of the world. A few differences between D&D 0e and D&D 3.5/Pathfinder D&D 0e is about the DM receiving guidance on making rulings rather than about being forced into a meticulous computer simulation of mechanics. Imagination is a large part of D&D 0e; much of the movement and combat is abstract descriptions with some visual representation of approximate positions. Most of the time you don't see the map. D&D 0e relies on player skill rather than character skill checks. Very few things limit the actions your character may perform in OD&D. Difficulty is not always fair in D&D 0e. Groups may encounter deadly creatures, traps, etc; if they don't properly recognize these things as deadly threats, there is a chance that the entire party may be slain. The rule of a superior (OD&D) DM is NOT to tell a story to his or her players. The DM need only provide an interesting and challenging environment for the players to explore and then administer that environment totally impartially. Superior players will be able to create a character-driven, interactive story from these raw materials, and neither the players nor the GM can tell where the story is headed. OD&D is not about creating a Superman; its about creating a Batman. If these things interest you, you can visit the campaign or join . If you decide you do not want to play anymore, please drop from the game so that I can ensure we have an active pool of players at all times.
Bumping this. We have many so far, but we can always use more.
