Calling all casters! D&D 5e Player Opening!

Hi all, Pending a final vote tonight a longstanding game that I run on Thursdays may, unfortunately, have an opening that needs to be filled. As I said, this is not a new game and there is some lore catch-up you would have to do, but I have a handy dandy campaign setting pdf (It's pretty short) that I can send you. The group is down 1 wizard so someone comfortable playing a caster would be ideal but we could accommodate any of the following: Bard, Druid, Ranger, Sorcerer, Warlock or Wizard. Please post if you have any interest. We would not be able to include you in tonight's game (unless you get back to me within moments of posting this), but we hope to see one of you starting next Thursday at 7 EST. Hi, I would love to take a whack at 5e whether as a Wizard or Warlock. I just got the player's handbook the other day. I use skype and I'm available on Wednesdays. I don't mind doing lore catchup and I have years of tabletop experience (mostly D&D). Almost 300 hours of experience on roll20 too!.

Hi Matt, I have the 5e books and am interested in playing in your group. Couple of questions. What time do you end? I am a working man so 11ish preferably my max. Second, I already have a character drawn up for a Oath of the Ancients Paladin which isn't much different than a ranger (at least in spells and how i set up the characters play style). Could I use that? If no wiggle room on melee casters then I would be interested in creating an Elf Druid of the Land. Also, what level?

We normally end about 11 central or a bit earlier. I would prefer you to use a fresh character but if you're really really attached to your paladin that'd be okay. You'd be starting at level 3. Also, we'll be running a one shot to try people out to see how the group dynamic works, so let me know if you have any free nights before Thursday.

Hey Matt, I'd also be interested in filling the caster role. Might I ask what the current party composition is, both race and class?

We have a halfling cleric, a halfing rogue, and a dwarf fighter. All of them have some divine magical abilities (homebrew).

Sounds like a league of little people! I wish this wasnt on a Thursday.
