Please add a Light Mode

Personally I despise the default "dark mode" look on these sheets. Can we please get a white sheet?

Hi Shard,  There are over 1000 character sheets on Roll20. About a dozen or two are made by Roll20. Could you specify which sheet you are referencing?
The 5e 2024 sheet.
If this doesn't already have this feature, I vote for it to have it.  From what I recall, white backgrounds have been theorized to be useful to a person's mind when there is a lot of information being presented.

Be sure to press the little Up-Arrow if you want to cast a +1 up vote for a Suggestion  These suggestions need to get a certain amount of upvotes to stay viable on the Forums and eventually get to the attention of Roll20 Team

First, D&D 5e 2024 by Roll20 suggestions should be in this thread as it is being actively developed. Second, this is already on their roadmap. It was supposed to be release in Winter 2025 but that got delayed due to bug smashing.  Third, in the meantime there is a Stylus extension option :) Here is the video showing how to do it.   Here is the stylus code. And finally, a page that includes updates for that Stylus code.
Funny, I put it over there originally and they said to put it here. Second, not surprised in the least. Third, that looks like a bunch of code and not everyone is a code monkey programmer, I wouldn't touch that with a ten-foot pole but thanks. Also, it's literally copy pasting a bunch of code. Copy pasting. It doesn't require a "code monkey programmer", as you mildly offensively put it, to copy paste with a video guide to boot.

Yes, as a matter of fact I did. I can only assume they removed it after they recommended I post here instead. But thanks for exerting the effort to try and suggest I'm a liar. Roll20 staff has specifically requested feedback and feature requests to be on that thread, and I figure if it was the case that the opposite was true, my many callouts regarding missing and broken features would have received the same treatment - and it wouldn't make much sense to delete any remainders of such policy, either. Having the suggestions subforum flooded with requests for one specific sheet makes it much less useful for general features, especially when half the time people neglect specifying the sheet. Oh, and you are aware that deleted comments are still visible to the poster, right?
Are you Roll20 staff? I don't see any indication that you are. If not, how about leaving it to the professionals? Tuo said: Shard said: Yeah, as a matter of fact I did. Heaven forbid you're pointed to the thread that is actively watched and replied to by the people you want to reach. Whatever the case, you've already been given an answer (it is already a planned feature) and an interim solution.
Gee Golly Thanks

Hi folks, lets take a beat and relax.  Shard, if you need help with getting the Stylus up and running that video I linked should help. Otherwise I can help or I can get the "Master of Stylus" here and he can help.  With that said, the best place really is the D&D 5e 2024 character sheet thread. As Tuo stated, that is where the Devs want the suggestions for this topic. Active development items are usually best in their respective threads.  It is possible your previous post was lost, sometimes that happens. A post gets submitted and rather than posting correctly it gets eaten.

Hey folks, if you want to get the light mode style that is under development, you can do it without touching a line of code. The Stylus extension is available through the Chrome Web Store here . It's point and click installation, open source, and free. (it's also available for other browsers, but Chrome is the only thing I have direct access to as I type this). You can install the style without touching any code by simply subscribing to it. Go to the page for it here , and click the install button. This will subscribe to the style. The advantage here, beyond ease of use, is that as the style is developed and refined, you are likely to see any updates here first. I installed it almost immediately after it was announced, and I have to say the difference is amazing. Even without changing any positional formatting, I find the sheet to be incredibly more legible. If you run into any issues, feel free to DM me and I'll see what I can do to help.

Did you do the second part? Subscribing to the style?
I had to log into Mozilla on the Stylus page for some reason, even though I was already logged in everywhere else, but it's working now. Thank you. keithcurtis said: Did you do the second part? Subscribing to the style? keithcurtis said: Did you do the second part? Subscribing to the style?

Excellent. It still has a couple of rough parts, but in general, it's a vast improvement (for me, at least)
