Clean Linking of Character Sheets

Hi community! I am a brand-new user of this fantastic program, and I have one quick question! Is there a clean way to link character sheets (hopefully the neato autofill kinds) during a game session? How have other DM/GMs dealt with this necessary facet of running a game?

The best suggestions I have seen are to use Google Docs, Dropbox, or Mythweavers. Then paste the link to the character sheet in the “Bio & Info” Box attached to the Character in the Journal page. Others have suggested for simple character sheets to just paste the relevant stats in the Biography section as a work around. I personally am a control freak and email my players fresh copies of their character sheets with updates to equipment and experience since the last game. Though this probably only works because I’m running a low gear, story driven game.
Stephen, if you are a control freak look into Google Docs. What I do is take a template of the sheet (there are plenty out there,) Duplicate that for each person ("Pathfinder For X" and then another "Named Pathfinder for Y") and then share that sheet with them (make sure they are set as "Can Edit" and keep yourself the owner. You will be able to as as the GM to look into their changes in real time. Works like a charm.
Thanks, both of you! I hadn't thought of using googledocs! Sounds perfect for what I need!

Two questions, Tommy. Does it work easily with PDFs and can your have a folder with each individual character sheet shared with only one person? What I mean is can I sort the character sheets by game/folder but inside that folder only the correct player has access to their sheet?
@Stephen, I have never tried PDF's through google docs. I just usually find the spreadsheet versions so it makes calculations for people. Like this one for pathfinder I just found (typed in google docs "x game" character sheet.) https://docs.google.com/previewtemplate?id=0AgsbwE9GGMW_dGk3YmgzdnBvOXdma3MyN3RncU5XbFE&mode=public Yes, in Google Docs, you can create folders and folder in folders, then you just drag and drop the sheet into whatever folder you want.
