D&D noob looking for a DM to teach them how to play - anyone willing?

I just wanted to try DnD out, and I happen to have the 3.5e player's manual in PDF. Anybody willing enough to teach me? I don't mind doing a PBP at all! -Thanks
Anyone here can teach you role playing. I have been RPing for years and Im not convinced D&D is one of the best games to start with, especially as complicated as 3.5 is. Did you want to learn role playing itself or was your interest primarily in D&D?

You've got like 60 hours on this site John (and a sword in your avatar), how are you a noob? Maybe it means you've been playing other games and now want to focus over to DnD 3.5? Asking because I offer a game that's based on Basic D&D from the 1980's. It is waaaaay pre-3.5 and is not like 3.5. The game system I use, Basic Fantasy RPG, is much more basic and simple compared to 3.5. It's set up for teaching new players. I have a campaign called Explore Dungeons Inside a strange world. PM me if you would be interested in joining that to learn the basic dungeon style of play.
@Firepart - I am an experienced RPer myself, just not with DnD, but with simpler RPGs like Microlite 20 and in fact Dungeon Squad (by Jason Morningstar). So far, I've been the one teaching others to play, but I've never had the chance to actually be a player; I'm always the DM! That's right, I started DMing first, and not the other way around! :P Which, of course, was hard, but thanks to tips I got from forums and from another more experienced DM, I managed to understand the role pretty well, though just not well enough, in my opinion. @Gold - Thanks, I feel more confident now. :D Actually, I haven't been doing anything else besides DMing. I think I've got the basic DnD mechanics covered, since Microlite 20 is meant to be a super-lite and simple version of DnD. It uses the purest essence of the d20 system after all. Now, all I really want is to finally be a player with his very own Player Character. I don't mind playing BFRPG (which I have heard of before :) ), but I wouldn't mind giving 3.5e a shot either.

Here is the link for the BFRPG dungeons campaign and you can join it & look around at the description / write-up and scheduling on the campaign. If you like it, dialog with me in the scheduling thread to get you in-the-game. We are playing a session today, by the way, starting in half-hour from now. There will be more sessions coming up through the fall-winter. It's set up for you to play when you like, skip when you need to.
Alright! Thanks a lot! :) I'll take a look at that and I'll let you know. Skip when you need to? That's a great option since one can't always play at every occasion. :/ Thanks again!
