Hello all, I am looking for 2-4 players interested in playing in the world of darkness. My plan is to get a group of players to play some mortals, hunters possibly, but normal humans none the less. Not imbued, not even vampires. Humans who have barely been enlightened to the world that lingers just under the surface, behind a mask, a veil, a smalll white lie. The game will be set in Idaho, america- in the capital city: Boise (mostly because I tend to be very familiar with the city), in the Year 2010. The players will be normal humans, and I wanna get an idea of some players characters, Ideas and plans. I want to build the overall story around my players, I have a story and stuff happening around them, but overall World of Darkness is a game about its players, about telling a story about your players. And so what I want from people who wish to apply for my game is this- Give me a character. Write me a character. You are a normal human, living in the world of darkness. Are you a ghoul, are you a bystandard who witnessed something you shouldn't have, did you see something that woke you to the world at large, maybe met somone who showed you the light, deciphered a code hiding the truth. The primary supernaturals are of course vampires, however werewolves and even Fae also are very active in the area- as Boise in 2010 is a rapidly growing city, small only 20 years before, it is one of the fastest growing cities in the world now- the development of the city hitting a fever pitch. not only that but america as a whole is on the verge of a huge change in tecnology, not a year earlier the first smartphones where made, the world is becoming more and more connected with every passing year, every passing month. It is gettting harder and harder to hide the darkness, and easier and easier for people to forget all of life's issues... by just looking at a screen. so- to apply to my game just tell me who you are, what experience (if any) you have with the world of darkness, What kind of person you want to play, what kind of stuff you wanna get up to in a game of WOD, and hell- I may even build up to something more than just some normal ass humans if we get far enough, maybe we start growing Imbued... maybe we become awakened, or maybe something..... darker happens For further information, I am only posting a LFG here, I am more likely to just fully run the game on discord, either using interactive Character sheets, or possibly Roll 20 for sheets, and dice rolling. an example of who I am and what kind of characters I play: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am Satyr Sempai, I have mostly surface knowledge on the world of darkness, but can provide players with almost any book they want- (including the obscure stuff) and have been rolplaying games for almost 15 years now. I have played a few characters in World of darkness, Including a Werewolf, a Vampire, and have some experience with the video games. (this in place of what I want to play) one of my characters I have played was a Man named William Dark. He was a short Stoner, who lived out of his van, and Had gone around america on a long road trip before settling down with his girlfriend and two roomates- Later he found out he was a member of the Garou nation, a purebred Fianna. Turning from his birth tribe he became A Bone Gnawer, a Ragabash. His roomates however where something else... something not so bound to the Wyld...
