I just had someone drop out of my thursday evening game, and am looking for someone (or some people; there are two slots open) to refill the ranks. The party is in their "Act 3" of a 3-act main story, but it's safe to say (because it's a sandbox world) that they've ignored the main story entirely and are adventuring for the sake of wandering and exploration. Their current mission is to find some magical sand to plug a hole in reality (blame the kobold gadgeteer in the party for flushing a toilet and opening the hole) and they had to retreat from the dungeon they were in so that they could rest and identify items... so this is the perfect time to jump in. It's a 3.5/some pathfinder/homebrew (multiple systems rewritten) kind of game, but it is rather easy to pick up and not as overwhelming as it sounds (my last world lasted six years with multiple groups, so I'm doing something right). It's a sandbox / do what you want / shared universe (currently four groups) so yes, you can meddle in other groups' affairs.
