Zoom stuck at 61%

Not talking about browser zoom, the map zoom in both in Firefox and Chrome, when I go into game it zooms map out to 61%. I have reset cache on both browsers, set to 100% exited game several times. Anyone got any ideas how to fix this?

Is this as a player or as a GM? There was a recent feature added to auto center on player's tokens when they enter a page, but I wasn't aware of a zoom setting, or of any behavior relating to GMs. More information might help formulate a better report.

Cron do you have any API Mod scripts installed? Mods could do that, I think
Oh, sorry. It is a game I am a player in.

Out of curiosity, is 61% coincidentally the zoomed level which fits the map to the window?

No, it is not, the map is much bigger. I have not used any commands for any api scripts either. If I change zoom, more or less, and exit game it reverts to 61% soon as I renter. I have settings set to pan, not scroll zoom as well.

Hi Cron,  Does this persist in other games?  To test: please create another game, set it to the same page size (you can get that information from your GM), and see if it persists? Regarding API Scripts, there are automatic scripts that your GM could be using. Please ask them to join the conversation and post which scripts they might be using.

I didn't create a blank game but I did pop into my game and two other peoples games. In my game, as GM, zoom is 100%. Yet when I log into it as player  the same map zoom is stuck at 118%. When I join a second person's game, first being one stuck at 61%, zoom is 121%. I know the GM's in those games use different api as well. In my game, on a map I have never once logged into as a player before, zoom came up at 118%. API being used in one game is: GroupInitiative TokenMod TurnMarker1 ApplyDamage.js GroupCheckGray.js TableExport 5th Edition OGL by Roll20 Companion MacroMule.js MathOps Plugger libTable Muler SelectManager Vector Math MatrixMath Aura/Tint HealthColors Path Math checkLightLevel libTokenMarkers Messenger Fetch APILogic libInline ZeroFrame MetaScriptToolbox 2nd Game's API: Aura/Tint Health Colors TokenMod ApplyDamage.js GroupCheckGray.js GroupInitiative

Cron said: Oh, sorry. It is a game I am a player in. This sounds like it could be an issue with a new recent Feature for Centering on Player-Controlled Tokens Upon Page Load, that Roll20 has added (but has not Announced, except for in obscure places). How many Tokens do you have Control of, on the Page? Roll20 now (as of recently) will Zoom each Player's view to a different zoom and position upon Page load. It is determined by setting the zoom wide enough that you (the Player) can see All of the Tokens that you yourself have Control. If you have 2 tokens under your control spread-out on the map at just-such-a-range that could lead to 61% and Roll20 will "do" this feature again every time you Load that page. To test this, move your Multiple-controlled tokens closer together on the page and try loading again. Here is the buried announcement of it with a brief description of the Feature: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1339716/center-map-on-player-token-when-map-first-loaded/?pageforid=12341317#post-12341317" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1339716/center-map-on-player-token-when-map-first-loaded/?pageforid=12341317#post-12341317</a> Here is a new thread by me, asking Roll20 to create an announcement of the feature so that Users can be alerted to what's happening, informed of how it works, and ask questions about it to give feedback: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/12347441/create-an-announcement-and-feedback-thread-for-new-roll20-jumpgate-feature-that-auto-centers-players-view-on-tokens" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/12347441/create-an-announcement-and-feedback-thread-for-new-roll20-jumpgate-feature-that-auto-centers-players-view-on-tokens</a>
I think you got it. In the game that is 118% I control 1 token. In the game that is 121% I control 1 token. In the game that is 61% I control 4 tokens, 2 back up characters, my main, and a steel defender. This game we have a guild house home base, the backups are in a separate room. I moved all the tokens side by side and exit/entered again and the zoom was now 93%. Thanks, this was driving me crazy. I like re positioning to token on map change, save a lot of time hunting, but the zoom changing on every map is a pain. This&nbsp; definitely&nbsp; needs to be a feature we can turn off.

I would suggest using Gold's link to continue this discussion, since that is the thread I have alerted the devs to. The starting zoom level for players does seem to be tied to map size and user token placement now. I have a workaround, but I have posted it here , since the title is a little more on target (this is related to the auto starting point feature.), and I have directed dev attention there.
