Neverwinter Nights is a cRPG released by Bioware in 2002 that uses the DND 3.5 ruleset. The City of Arabel is a a long-standing Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition server and community with a dedicated base of roleplayers. Recently, we had major changes in our DM team, with new members bringing with them fresh ideas, stories and a new vision. The server has gone through our most ambitious story and setting change in it's history, with many old characters retiring and new ones being built now. This makes this the ideal time ever to come back and remember why you fell in love with the City of Arabel community, or discover why folks have been here for 20+ years telling stories and having fun. The Story So Far Following the death and defeat of the city's mightiest adventurers to stop the release of a strange entity called the Azure Flame, a mysterious and deadly freezing storm has surrounded Arabel and its environment. Seemingly cut off from the outside world, adventurers are called to confront the dangers of the frozen Stormlands, and save who they can from the creeping frosts that surround them. There is also a tense political landscape to navigate, the city torn between its response to the emergency - will you embrace security at the cost of freedom, is liberty the only true key to salvation, or should we hold the faith even as the gods fall Silent against the howling gale of the Storm?
