Missing Character in Compendium

I've come across a minor but puzzling issue. I recently created a copy of a long-running game to try things out in Jumpgate without messing anything up in the original by accident. This game has hundreds of characters sheets set up for NPCs, and I noticed that one, and as far as I can see only one, is missing in the compendium of the copy. I tried to transmogrify the missing character over, but the Transmogrifier says it is already there. I had a token linked to the missing sheet already set up on the map, and sure enough I was able to open the character sheet from the token, so it's still in the game. However, it's still not visible in the compendium. This is not a browser specific issue, I've tried in Chrome and Firefox on different machines. Anyone else encountered this before?

Hi Jan! Have you checked to see if it is archived? From your description, it sounds like you are describing the journal tab, not the Compendium. Look down at the bottom and see if there is an "Archived Characters" folder.

I did indeed mean the Journal, sorry. There are no archived characters.

Bizarre. And typing a partial name in the search field doesn't find it?

Just an idea. If the character is in a folder, searching for the character name in the Journal will just show the folders that contain matches. You have to then expand each folder to see the character.

Wonder if this has something to-do with having multiple characters with the same first-name Karl?  I mean, obviously, Roll20 should pull up ALL the Karls, but I wonder if that could be some sort of bug within the search engine?
