Mechwarrior: Destiny RPG

I have a really good GM that is extremely knowledgeable about the Battletech universe that is looking to run a Mechwarrior: Destiny RPG campaign online.   We have settled on Saturday nights at 10:30 pm EST with a hard start of 11 PM EST. We will be rolling up 'regular' characters, and will NOT be using the pass the mic GM style. We will instead have a dedicated GM. All characters MUST choose the Mercenary (Irregulars) background choice. Who wants to play? We have our GM and myself so far, and would like to recruit up to 3-4 players, 6 maximum. Campaign premise: It is the 31st century, and mankind is once again at war… For over a hundred years, the Great Houses of the Inner Sphere have torn each other apart in a brutal struggle for dominance. Empires rise, planets fall, and the smoke of war never truly clears. Now, in the throes of the Fourth Succession War, House Davion surges forward in a bold bid to crush its ancient rivals. But not every front burns with glory. On the forgotten fringes of the Federated Suns, the planet Muskegon hangs quietly in the void. Once a minor agricultural and mining colony, its significance faded with the decline of nearby trade routes. Officially, it’s listed as a “low-risk border world,” its defenses limited to a single, underfunded AFFS base and a contract garrison from a third-rate mercenary company—the Laketon Irregulars. You are members of a recon lance from the Laketon Irregulars—left behind when the rest of your unit was redeployed to hotter fronts. Your job: keep the peace, watch the skies, and make sure no one forgets the Davion flag still flies over Muskegon. With your aging mechs, outdated sensors, and patched-up tanks, it’s been months of quiet patrols, dusty drills, and bad coffee. Until now. A recent wave of vandalism and sabotage has erupted across Hackley, the planet’s capital. Communication towers scorched. Power substations rigged to blow. Civilians whisper of organized gangs, strange symbols, and armored shapes seen moving at night. At first, it seemed like petty crime. But the tactics are too precise. The gear too advanced. And just yesterday, a Laketon patrol never came back from a routine sweep through the industrial sector. Your orders are simple: Investigate. Restore order. Report back. But on the edge of known space, where no one is watching, the fires of war are never far behind. And in the shadow of the Davion eagle, a new enemy stirs— Welcome to Muskegon. War has found you.
