I'm posting this for a game that I joined with a friend that we have done some character/world building for. No gameplay sessions have occurred and we would love to have at least one more come in and flesh out the world before we start playing (all creation sessions are free). We are a bit nutty as you will see if you continue reading, but fun and grand adventure will be had. Beyond the wall has simple rules giving players and GMs a lot of freedom in exploration, roleplaying and combat. Creativity will be rewarded... appropriately ;) Characters are created using a playbook (archetype) that has a series of rolls that lay out the experiences had growing up. This leads to your character stats, skills, outline of a backstory that can be fleshed out, and the creation of NPCs and Places in the starting town. Other places in the wider world are created with details about them fleshed out by the players and gm collaboratively. Fun part is all information is just rumor or folklore and may not be what the players thought if/when explored. If you've read this far in the era of short attention spans, then you must be interested or a completionist. Here is a general description of the setting so far to give you an idea of what you may be getting into: Players start in goat cheese capitol of the world, Lowtown. A growing coastal town that produces a special formulation of goat cheese that has an ever growing demand for it (addictive?). Strange dealings in the dock warehouses, murder mysteries, hag that has dealings with the mayor, cursed dwarvish ruins (bound fire primordial?), blighted former elvish land, highly sought after starpine in tightly controlled elvish forest, northern dwarven fortress holding back the goblins hordes, former town rock skipping champion turned goat herder… Come join Ebner Sizemore, dramatic storyteller of some renown and amateur sleuth. And Isaac Redfern, elvish prince, fourth in his line, of no importance to the family or the kingdom. Now a wanderer, searching for a higher purpose.
