[Jumpgate] Dynamic Lighting Vision fail as token moves along a grid

I raised this as a bug report (Jumpgate Bug Report: [#311545]) on 12th April 2025 and have heard nothing since.   I can reproduce it on Chrome, Firefox and Edge, and all my players report it on their PCs, so that is seven different computers. As the player moves his token along the lighting changes.  There is nothing at the centre of the apparent circles, nor are there any Dynamic lighting walls. See images below. It is consistent, persistent and very very annoying as it means I have to tell the players where everything is now as these lighting bugs means something 3 grid squares away, and lit by a torch, can't be seen etc. I switched to Jumpgate to fix a copy/paste bug.  Now I am about to write the next leg of my campaign and am seriously thinking of going back to legacy as the maps worked there reliably for almost 5 years.

Hi Crotchety DM! Is it just that one page, or is it all pages, or even all games? Without being able to run hands on tests, I would look for oddities like invisible tokens, or the map graphic itself being set to have vision or emit light. You can also test if it occurs on a duplicate of the problem page. If you would like to PM me an invite, I'd be happy to investigate.

Hi Keithcurtis, Thanks for the response.  I duplicated the page and it repeated the same issue. This is basically the one map we have been on for the last few sessions, and is the only one we have seen this issue on (so far)

My guess is that is a dynamic lighting barrier causing the problem.  The best way to test this is to duplicate the page. (Click the Page toolbar icon, go to the page in question, click the 3 dots, then click Duplicate.) Next, go to the duplicate page , switch to the Light layer. Start removing sections of DL barrier. After each section is removed, move the token.  I prefer to remove sections in 1/4s. Remove the barriers in the northwest quarter of the page. Check to see if it is "fixed". Next, repeat for the north-east quarter of the page. Repeat for each quarter until you identify the offending quarter.  Next, duplicate the original page again, focus on that quarter, remove barrier lines until you find the barrier that is causing the problem.  Go to the original page, fix that barrier.
