[D&D 5E] Looking For Mature Players Friday One-Shot (7-9 PM MST)

When you say, "Mature" are you looking for (Mature in age, Mature emotionally, or Lots of current DnD experience?) I ask because I only have 2 out of the 3... I also haven't played much since the 80's (early 80's) but I'm looking to get back into it after checking out 5e.

No experience necessary... 5E is pretty new to all of us anyway! I think you will like 5E - the best description I've heard is that it feels like 2E, with the lessons learned from everything since.

Looks like fun. What pre-gens are you providing? The ones from the starter set? Also would it be possible to create our own pc and submit it before game time? Sorry for all the questions.

I'm 33 years old, and consider myself rather mature, friendly, and fun -- but I suppose you'll have to judge that! I'm new to tabletop gaming in general. A Phandelver campaign that I'm part of is my first game ever! I'm familiar with 5E thanks to two weeks of playing that, and prior to that I certainly played a ton of CRPGs and whatnot. I've been having a blast roleplaying, and have been looking for other opportunities to play. Your one-shot sounds like a good chance to have some fun! Hi, Answulf. We know each other from my 5E campaign, but I'd be interested in doing an old school one-shot as a player. I'm 41, have Skype, and am a mature and easy-going player. I've recently returned to RPGs after a very long absence, but since I'm now running a 5E campaign, I'm also pretty familiar with the new D&D rules. A slightly later time on Friday evenings would be a bit better for me for a long-term campaign, but since this is a one-shot, then it should be fine. If we're using pre-generated PCs, I would prefer one of the more conventional and old school classes like a fighter, cleric, ranger, or druid. I suppose that a wizard might be okay too. Elves, humans, halflings, or dwarves would all be fine. I'm old school, so I like to stick to the old standbys.

Hello Answolf I would like to join. If that is no problem. I don't have experienced with tabletop games but have wabted to try since a long time, and well thought this might be a good time. I am mature (mentally and emotionally, but not physically to the degree you ask. I'm in my 20) Im free on Friday but don't know if my time zone may be an issue (Atlantic Time Zone). Hey Answulf, I'm also very interested. Very first time playing any kind of table top RPG and struggling to find a group to break my seal. A one-shot experience would be a great way to experience it without having any long term commitments. 29 yrs old
