[LFG] [EST] [MgT2e] [18+] Looking to Start Traveller 2e Game

Hi all. I am looking to put together a Traveller by Mongoose game. The game will be Monday nights preferably from 5:30 p.m. till 9:30 p.m. EST. Time is flexible for the sake of getting players together but once we have a group solidified the time will be fixed. This is a free game and while my hours played here are low, I have been playing since Traveller came out with the Deluxe set by GDW. I will be using the Mongoose 2nd edition Traveller book updated in 2022 however if you only have access to an earlier version (including Cepheus Engine or any other open 2d6 Sci-Fi systems), I will work with you. Beginners are welcome. Please reply here with interest or questions.

Hi there, long time 5e player here looking to branch out and try some new systems. I would be interested in learning more.

I’d love to hear more about the themes of the game you’ve got planned. Also, how much are you going to use R20’s bells and whistles? I generally go for the bare minimum — sheets and dice.  I ran some Traveller about 10 years ago. Fun system!

I'd like to hear more as well. It would be great to try a new system. I'll stay tuned.

Wednesdays and Thursdays are an option if I can’t get enough people available on Mondays.  As for theme, I am looking to run a Free Trader campaign to start thane transform it into exploration. But the main point of the campaign is a sand box. The players will get to decide where they go and what they do from a set of options. This is also an Imperium game but you will start far from the ruling areas so that the Imperium will only be a minimal presence.
