Currently looking to find some players who would like to play in a GURPS 3rd edition homebrew D&D style fantasy setting.  The elevator pitch: The Empire Fell, but Magic Didn't The great Valdorian Empire collapsed one hundred and fifty years ago when their wizard-kings tried to bind a primordial force and shattered the very fabric of magic itself. Now wild magic storms sweep across the land, turning forests to crystal and spawning impossible creatures. Spellcasters risk madness with every casting, but the rewards for those who master the chaos are extraordinary. City-States Rise from the Ashes In the Empire's ruins, several independent city-states have emerged, each with their own culture, laws, and desperate ambitions. Venice-like trading republics trade with militaristic city-fortresses, while scholar-cities hoard pre-Collapse knowledge. Every settlement needs mercenaries, diplomats, and problem-solvers willing to venture into the dangerous lands between civilizations. The Frontier Calls to the Bold Beyond the city-states lie the Wildlands - territories where reality itself is unreliable and ancient Imperial ruins hide both treasure and terror. Expeditions into these regions can make fortunes or end in madness, but someone must map the new world and reclaim what was lost. The frontier rewards the clever, the brave, and the adaptable. Your Reputation is Your Currency Without an empire to impose order, relationships and reputation matter more than gold. A merchant's word, a sellsword's reliability, or a scholar's insights can open doors that force cannot. Every action builds or destroys your standing with the various factions vying for control of this new world. I am happy to help any one who is new to GURPS especially with character creation. If your even interested but don't want to go through the character creation process we can handle that either by just providing me with a character concept or I can even provide some pre-gens as well. As a GM I am very easy going, welcome every one to my table, and just ask you respect my time. If you have any questions feel free to ask here or DM me directly. Looking to start here within a week or 2, currently looking like early afternoons every other Sunday Mountain Standard Time.
