Setting map Board Color to 'transparent' no longer works, defaults to black

As can be seen above. Jumpgate is being used.

Confirmed, replicated. I playtested it and got the same result even with a blue Backdrop Color, it rendered a Black board when set to Transparent. but I think a better test screenshot is when you have a different color set for the Background Color... There has to be something underneath to show-through. If it's transparent Board Color on top of black Backdrop Color, then seeing black is expected.  If it's transparent Board Color on top of blue Backdrop Color, then I think seeing blue would be expected.  What color are you hoping to see come-through the transparent?
@Gold  See below screenshot. In this second scenario, I have disabled automatic backdrop color and forced backdrop to neon green. And yet, the board color is still black even though it is set to 'transparent'
