Crits for NPCs

This has probably been covered before, but I can't find any answer. How can I modify the crit range for NPC's to give maximum damage + roll?
You'l have to specify what game you are playing and what character sheet is selected for the game and is being used by the NPC. It's usually helpful to also post if you are playing in a Jumpgate or Legacy game (but that shouldn't be relevant for this question).
<DOH> Of course! I am using the D&D 5th ed 2014 by Roll20. I am also using Jumpgate.

Hi David L.,  There is no way to directly do that on the NPC side like there is on the PC side.  Instead I suggest putting a "if critical here is the damage" in the field below.
There is a hacky way to modify the crit range for NPCs, but it also has some limitations.&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/9933170/5e-d-and-d-r20-character-sheet-for-npcs-expanded-critical-range-for-npcs/?pageforid=9936710#post-9936710" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/9933170/5e-d-and-d-r20-character-sheet-for-npcs-expanded-critical-range-for-npcs/?pageforid=9936710#post-9936710</a>

I have just recently done this in my In D&amp;D 2014 game and it worked beautifully. In the character sheet open the weapon attack you can see the normal damage and below that is CRIT …. All u have to do is change the dice roll shown to a number For the longsword in the example I just changed the CRIT entry from 1d10 to just 10 and for good measure as the pc was a paladin I added the Smite as the 2nd damage type - called it “if smite” and entered the damage as 16/instead of 2d8 when the player rolls the standard roll template (the fancy box in the chat) displays the normal attack and the smite damage separately.

….. for NPC sheets you can do the same thing - but use the “on hit 2 line so For the damage enter say 6 instead of 1d6 for the type enter “if critical” or “plus if critical” instead of (say) slashing When the NPC rolls damage the hit 1 and hit 2 rolls are displayed seperatly

It looks like this ….. 3 is the normal rolled damage. &nbsp; Add the 6 = 9 total if it is a critical in the bottom pic of the NPC I should have called it “if critical” rather than just critical so it was cleared that you add the 3 and the 6 rather than either or &nbsp;&nbsp;
Thanks for your reply, Martin. This is something that I have done for ages for my PC's. The only problem is that you cannot do it for NPC/monsters etc.
