Welcome to the Astar Region, a fairly secluded, archipelagic region known for it's unique wildlife and scenery. For most of its history, Astar has remained decently independent from the other regions, maintaining a more traditional style of life under the ruling monarchy. The late King Nicholas wished to bring the region into the modern age, and spent a good portion of his time as King facilitating that transition, alongside the region's leading conglomerate, Holiday Industries. Though over the years the King's health deteriorated to a point he could no longer actively assist in modernising the region. His son, and current King, Matéo stepped in. After King Nicholas' passing, King Matéo entered agreements with the United Regions to have Astar finally step into the first world. He made large improvements to the region's Pokémon League and invited foreigners to join and test their strength. All of this resulted in an economic boom, allowing great advancements in both exploration and quality of life. One such advancement to the region's research facilities allowed scientists the opportunity to scan the earth below the region, leading to the discovery of Kyogre.
Session 0 will be happening in half an hour! (Monday 14th 9am cest) Don't miss out of joining the adventure from the very beginning!
We've just finished session 2 of the adventure, but it's not too late to join in if you're interested. Meet the Crew! Who are the brave souls who dared to enter the perilous caverns and venture towards the unknown? Clive Cortez: A mercenary and member of the Steel Sovereigns. Clive's rough upbringing has prepared him for any challenge awaiting him in the depths. While he may not be familiar with the concept of bathing, his mastery of Steel Pokémon is second to none. Mikaela Mistral: A dazzling coordinator from Kalos. Mika's spectacular displays leave his enemies stunned and his allies rallied. While he may only look like a pretty face, underestimating him is an easy way to land yourself in hot water. CMD. Manson Mc'Muscles: On his final assignment before retirement, Commander Manson is ready to show these young'uns what being a fighter is all about. The journey that started with him fist-fighting an Onix at age 4 (Don't double check) will soon come to an end. Professor Lavender: An NPC pokémon professor following the party to record all their findings. While he may not be very useful in combat, he makes up for it with his extensive historical knowledge and ability to teach pokémon a variety of very useful moves. If you wish to join this motley crew, check out the links above to learn more about the adventure.
Regional Forms The Astar region is a unique and diverse reason, as such, many pokémon have adapted to look and act a little differently to their counterparts from around the world. Pokémon such as the Steel/Fairy Hatenna line, who are drawn to trainers with musical talent. Or the Water/Fire Growlithe line, said to have a strong connection to the Legends of the sea. The game will be on pause until September 1st so now is the perfect chance to join and discover what other weird and wonderful pokémon await you! If you're interested in learning more about the game be sure to check out the links above.
