Greetings adventurers! I've been back and forth on what to run on Thursday nights, but I think I want to do another Strahd run! Thurs-SLAY night Curse of Strahd! If you'd like to play, let me know!
Curse of Strahd is a gothic horror adventure module for Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition, where players are drawn into the misty realm of Barovia, ruled by the vampire lord Strahd von Zarovich, and must navigate through dangerous landscapes and confront terrifying creatures to escape his eternal curse
Players are welcome to use 2014 or 2024 rules without any restrictions on official WotC race/classes (but as always leaning into the setting and theme helps the story!). Sessions will be 3.5-4 hours at 7:00pm ET $20/player. Curse of Strahd Until we have some new victims heroes to take on that evil, how about some irreverent level 1 shenanigans?
Want to try out the new rules? Have a joke character you are workshopping or just want to jump into? Want to work on some improv fundamentals? Want a night to just forget about the real world? Want to get really dramatic and have an epic tearjerker of a death scene? There are a million reasons one might want to play, and knowing that you've got one shot to make your mark on the world can be a good inspiration for players and characters!
All of these things are possible! If you haven't seen the show (I've had the good fortune of seeing them live 3 times now!) Your party is tasked with or stumbles onto a massive threat. One you have no business dealing with, potentially. You do the best with your outside the box thinking and solutions (and possibly some OP magic items that might let you survive...
