Handouts from art Library

Hi, I've got a question, maybe I'm missing something, but it seems that I can't make a handout from a file that's already in my Library without uploading it again. Specifically, I made a town map in Gimp, and I uploaded that as a page, so it's already in my library. As the characters explore the town, I want them to be able to reference the map without having to put it up as the players' page, so I wanted to make a handout from the file. I tried opening the new handout window next to my library window, and just dragging the file over, but it only places the map as a token on the tabletop. I'd hate to have to upload the same file twice. Any suggestions?
Actually, it should have occurred to me, but I figured out a workaround. If I make the handout first, then I can create the tabletop map by moving from my library and only have to upload once. It just seems weird that you can't do it the other way 'round.
Do you mean that you can actually drag & drop the map from the library into the table?? that´s neat!
Yeah, but for some reason, you can't drop from the library to another window, in this case to make a handout, or for example to add an avatar to a character sheet. Maybe that should be moved to the suggestions
Dragging from your library to a character sheet or handout should work. I do it all the time, so I'm not sure why you would be having this issue. Perhaps a Dev will stop by with more info.

I also checked to see if it would do the same with the web search and it did. If you still can't make it work please post a bug report and we can look into it for you.

Gozer , please use the Art Library sidebar to drag images onto handouts, character sheets, decks, etc. The Art Library popup window (the window that pops up when you click the black star) is not designed to drag images onto other windows (such as the handouts, characters, decks, etc.). It is only designed to drag images onto the tabletop.
Ah, that could be the problem.
