Jumpgate Map Visibility

I transitioned a game of Descent into Avernus (we had only gotten a couple of sessions in) to Jumpgate. All seemed to be working well, then I noticed that the PCs are seeing through the walls (we have Explorer Mode switched on)! This was the marketplace module where I had overlayed the OotB line maps (which I hate) with full color maps on the map layer. As they are a direct overlay (just dropped them onto the Map layer on top of the original map), I did not need to change the dynamic lighting layer at all.  I quickly switched back to the saved version and continued. I would like to continue to use Jumpgate, but I need this issue fixed - any ideas what went wrong?

Hey Taz, Most likely it's Settings that can be changed/fixed.  Another possibility is your Players using an unsupported browser (like maybe, suspected, if they are using Safari browser on a mac or on an Apple device). Check that your Players are using Firefox or Chrome browser.  If you can screenshot your Page Settings :: Dynamic Light tab, and also screenshot 1 of your Player's Token's Token-Settings Dynamic Light tab (in the Jumpgate game), from that I can help diagnose if your settings are right. Also doublecheck or screenshot your Dynamic Light Layer of your map to make sure it's good.  By the way, when you switch off Explorer mode, do you find it working then? That'd be something to test with a Player logged in (or with a Dummy Account if you have that).  I don't think that your overlayed Map (the color map version) is any problem. I think it's more likely the settings or the players browser.
