Hey all! I run two games at the moment both following the same basic campaign (yay for the Transmogrifier). Both games are short a player to get our core group up to 5 so both have an opening. Here is what we have so far as characters: Monday Night Group: This group is made up mostly of friends from college and my wife and I. We are very social, a little scattered and we have a lot of fun with the RP. We use Google Hangouts with Video extensively and I have to admit it's part of the fun. The group is made up of a Warlord (healing focus), a Rogue (brawny) and a Wizard (control). We also have a cleric that sometimes plays (ranged). This group needs a tank more than anything else. Thursday Night Group: This group is made up of Roll 20 Vet's (mostly). We are far more tactical in our thinking there but still have a lot of run RPing as well. This group uses Google Hangouts as well but only two of us cam. We have a Paladin (tank), a bard (healing), a Warlock and Ranger for DPS. Really anyone would be welcome; I've been running an additional DPS Wizard just to fill in gaps. I play pretty loose with death and dying. I try to cater gear to the party and I believe that the game is about having a good time hanging out more than it is "winning" encounters. It's not hard to slaughter a party so for me the fun of running a game is to keep the story interesting and engaging. Possible players should have a character in mind when they DM me. Also, characters are (mostly) limited to the original Players Handbook. I know there are some pretty cool builds out there but despite the bard (and the ranged cleric) I am very very very hestitant to bring in the later classes. I have my reasons but the long story short is my effort to not let anyone class over shine the other players/ characters rolls. Thanks!
