It shouldn't be lumped into OSR or Other and deserves it's own listing.

It sure would make it a lot easier to find and post a DCC RPG game.

Yes please!
October 09 (10 years ago)
I agree.
October 09 (10 years ago)
Agreed but make it conditional on Goodman Games releasing epic level rules. ;-)

Yes, yes, yes! I agree that DCC should have its own listing.

#5 game in the summer of 2012 according to ICv2, so not exactly obscure!

They need to add DCC and Swords& Wizardry. But in an interview a few weeks ago, one of the creators of Roll20 said basically "NO", there wasn't enough interest in these two systems to warrant their own classing in the search system.

I'm in agreement with you guys on adding more Game titles to the LFG, but in the meantime, think of the advantages of using the Old School Revival listing and promote that link to others who would appreciate all these types of gaming (Swords & Wizardry, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Basic Fantasy RPG, Labyrinth Lord, and so on).

There is a certain power in community and bridging the gap. By listing these games together under OSR, it is easier to find Players who would crossover from 1 OSR game to another. The OSR section is a good place to publicize whichever one of these games you prefer, for now.

The more instances / offerings of your game that's listed there, the greater chance of that game being promoted to it's own full listing in Roll20.

Well, at least we have the character sheet I made.

Yep and much appreciated. Will be using that in an upcoming campaign!

That seems silly. What is it? Adding a line of text to table? What is popular enough to add a line of text to a table?

Campaigns in play:

Dungeon Crawl Classics: 2
Stars without Number: 2
Dragon Age RPG: 1
Fiasco: 0
Hackmaster: 1
Mouse Guard: 0

DCC has enough players to make it onto our games list. It's added as of today.
