Follow up on bugged charachters that are unable to be deleted from my game.

6 Months ago I made this topic: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/12171130/unable-to-delete-characters-from-my-game-as-dm/?pageforid=12171130#newtopic It was then already a problem for 2 months, and it still is. As I play in a community and we import characters from each other on the regularly, I have now 7 characters that are bugged in the same way and are unable to be removed from my game. It was then told it was being prioritized, but I am still sitting with the same problem 8 months later. When is this planned to be fixed?

Hi Gyto, It seems like you are trying to contact Roll20 regarding this issue. The bug report forum is primarily for community support, if you are trying to reach out to Roll20 I suggest contacting them via the Help Center as they may not see this. I will also remind the Devs that this is happening. With that said, if you'd like to prevent this from happening you need to disable people's ability to create Roll20 Characters Characters. You can do that via the Game's Settings. Go to Roll20.net Click the name of your game Click Settings Click Game Settings Set "Allow players to create their own Characters?" to No Set "Allow players to transfer Characters?" to No Save That will prevent users from being able to use Roll20 Characters Characters in your game, which is the source of the problem. To create characters for your players you use the +Character button and assign it to the player. That will prevent the character from going to Roll20 Characters. If you want to continue to migrate characters, everyone in your community will need to do this. Then to migrate characters the GM of the destination game will need to pass the character through the Character Vault from source game to destination game. That *should* keep it from linking to Roll20 Characters as an owned character.
