Jumpgate Mapping Glitch

From the beginning: I've been trying to run a homebrew game based on the Age of Sail / Piracy in the Caribbean, and started the game using Jumpgate.   Image 1 I selected a map as a suitable background (a portion, about 20%, of the map can be seen in Image 1 ), and using a painstaking level of detail and reliance on some Age of Sail games I played before, I developed a number of named locations and added them to the map, with names and some flags, as well as using hand drawn elipses in various colours to denote the nations to whom each port of call belongs.  Now the problem is thus, after I first started the game the world map worked fine. I had added every location name, port colour, etc and stuck them all in the Map Layer. But when I later reloaded the game, the map looked strange. I could see all of the place names that I'd added, but only a scattering of port colours, such as La Habana (Havana) in the bottom left corner of Image 1 . I went into the Map Layer and highlighted everything, and suddenly all of the little circles I had hand drawn reappeared. I asked some of my players to join and test the map and according to them they couldn't see any of the re-highlighted additions.  So I painfully changed everything to the Token Layer. But the problem has persisted. Image 2 As you can see, every time I enter the game server I am faced with the colourless but named port locations, as seen in Image 1 . Then I highlight everything and it all appears as seen in Image 2 . It gives me a slight additional glitch where the Colour and Line Thickness tab is stuck in my Top Left until I toggle through the drawing tabs and back to the cursor to get it to go away. Image 3 And once I've highlighted everything, done my toggling and clicking to remove the other annoying glitch, it looks wonderful again, as seen in Image 3 . Some players have reported noticing that they can't see anything on the map until I highlight everything, toggle it between the GM and Token Layers, and make them Refresh their pages.  This is exceptionally frustrating and I'm not sure what's causing it. I've made these types of additions to maps in Legacy (where I run a perfectly working 40krpg Rogue Trader game, which requires additions to existing maps) and it doesn't happen to them.  Steps I've taken have been: - Clear my cache - Switched off any extensions - Restarted my computer Regardless, the problem persists. I'm close to launching this homebrew game and I was hoping to get this problem fixed before Session 1, but I've been too busy to post a Bug Report until now and the first session is tomorrow. Hopefully at least someone can advise me on why this is happening and how it might be fixed.  I really, really , don't want to have to re-draw things on this map again, or make a new game (those are simply out of the question).  Many thanks in advance for any help!

Hi Alex.M,  Please go to this thread and compare what you are experiencing to what the folks there are experiencing. I suspect that you have the same bug.  The Devs are currently investigating that bug.

I am both glad and saddened that it's a community issue, but also that the Devs are looking into it.
Annoyingly this has been a pretty common bug for DMs for the past couple weeks atleast, maybe if we're lucky it'll be fixed soon
