PRIORITY NEED I cannot believe it even has to be suggested, but the default listing of spells needs to clearly show the duration of the spell. This is what we see on the 2024 DnD Sheet: Leomund's Tiny Hut Wizard Self 10 foot 1 minute or Ritual A 10-foot Emanation springs into existence around you and remains stationary for the duration. The spell fails when you cast it if the Emanation isn't big enough to fully encapsulate all creatures in its area. Creatures and objects within the Emanation when you cast the spell can move through it freely. All other creatures and objects are barred from passing through it. Spells of level 3 or lower can't be cast through it, and the effects of such spells can't extend into it. The atmosphere inside the Emanation is comfortable and dry, regardless of the weather outside. Until the spell ends, you can command the interior to have Dim Light or Darkness (no action required). The Emanation is opaque from the outside and of any color you choose, but it's transparent from the inside. The spell ends early if you leave the Emanation or if you cast it again. Anyone even see Duration mentioned? (you only see it by editing the spell) (8 Hours) And while we're at it...add some paragraph spacing to make it easier to read.
+1,I hadn't even noticed this lack (I haven't yet played a spellcaster on the 2024 sheet), but yeah, that's a problem. In list view, you can see this by clicking on the caret (triangle) to the right of the name, which shows both duration and casting time, which are otherwise not displayed in either default or list view. However, I agree: both duration and casting time are critical information to someone choosing which spell to cast in a combat situation.   There ought to be an "at a glance" way to check them, withing having to expand the description. This is one case where the 2014 sheet isn't really any better: you have to click the circle-i icon to see either, but that hardly makes their hiding here a good thing. We really need a view specific to casting: duration, casting time, AoE or Attack (or other), damage type (is it cold or necrotic, that often matters and is hard to remember), Component needed, with markers for prepared spells, concentration, ritual and VSM requirements. You could fit all of that on one line (like list view) if you just listed one per row instead of two (don't get me wrong, the summary presentation in the current list view is also useful, if you're a wizard buying scrolls and want to be sure you don't already have it; wizard spell lists get long).
+1. Yeah, this is a problem. I hadn't noticed because I haven't used the sheets yet in serious play. Mostly because the early 2024 was so bad it was unusable so my group made the decision to circle back to it at the end of our current campaign--still several months away.
