Players: Seeking 4 shinobi (18+) Time: Saturdays at 10 am PST, weekly sessions 10:00 AM System: Mythras Where: Discord (stable internet connection and mic required) Description: From a distance, the village lights give you hope that you will escape your pursuers. Just a bit more until comrades and safety await. Just a bit more so your weary body can rest. Just a bit more until the mission is complete. This world is not at peace. On the continent lie the Five Great Shinobi Countries: the Land of Earth in the northwest, the Land of Lightning in the northeast, the Land of Water in the east, the Land of Wind in the southwest, and the Land of Fire at the center. Each takes its name from its dominant chakra nature, and each is ruled by a Daimyo. Around them are smaller nations, often caught in the crossfire of great power struggles, whose lands bear the scars of constant skirmishes. Distrust runs deep. Nationalism stirs. Shinobi are torn between loyalty to their clan, duty to their village, and the bonds of their own squadmates. You will not be assigned a single mission to follow. Instead, you bring your own. If you are interested in playing, create a Genin-level shinobi with a clear personal goal and post it in the thread. Then find at least two other players whose character goals align with or support your own. If your ambition is something only achievable by a legendary shinobi on par with a Kage, start with the first step your Genin could take to begin that path. What is Mythras? Mythras is a classless, skill-based TTRPG, similar in spirit to Skyrim. You can shape your shinobi however you like, with no fixed archetypes or rigid roles. If you can find a teacher, uncover a scroll, or dedicate enough in-game time to research, you can learn almost any skill or technique. Your character’s potential is limitless until death claims them. Note: I run a low to no prep style of game. The story will grow from your decisions, your actions, and the challenges you choose to face or ignore. The world will respond, evolve, and sometimes push back hard. If you are interested leave a reply.
