[Resolved] Real-Time Sync Server was down earlier...

There have been several threads started about this, I'm going to consolidate all of them here. There is currently a temporary outage with our real-time sync server. Unfortunately it's with one of our service providers (Firebase) so we're working with them to get it back up. We don't currently have an ETA on when this will be fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience this may be causing you! I will update this thread as we know more. Edit: We seem to be back up. Total downtime was about 1.5 hours. Really sorry about this. Our internal monitoring didn't alert us right away because it was only a partial outage. I've made some adjustments that should cause it to alert us in the future if this sort of issue occurs. If you're still having trouble, please be sure to do a Shift-Reload and/or clear your browser's cache. Thanks!

Oh good! I thought you guys might have been taking the 4th off! haha! Well I'm extremely glad you guys are addressing this issue, and I hope you sort it out soon! I love this product and can't wait to keep using it again :D

Murgh: You may want to try and launch outside of Hangouts until we get this sorted out. In theory it should work in either if it's going to work, though.

Murgh: Great! For anyone else still having issues, you definitely need to do a Shift-Reload, and in Chrome you may need to clear your cache, since it can be really stubborn about not loading in new versions of things it has cached.

I am also suffering from these lackofanythingloading problems. Cleared the Chrome Cache, Ctrl+Shift+R, still no dice. Should I break out the laptop to see if that makes any difference?
I am currently experiencing this as well. I was working on my campaign for hours into the wee hours of the night (morning?) when I accidentally closed the window. When I went to go back in, it just sits on the loading screen. I left it up all night, just in case it was due to large amounts of campaign info, but no go. I rebooted my machine as I left for work, and will try again when I get home. I will try the shift-Reload as well... I have already cleared the cache, and that did not work. I hope that I did not lose all that work!!!
@ExKirby @Ron Barnes, It looks like Firebase (who provides one of our backend services) is currently affected by an outage due to a DDoS attack on their DNS provider. In theory this only affects initial load-in, so if you were/are already in-game your connection would have been fine, it only would have affected you when you tried to reload. You should get a warning message if your connection is ever interrupted to the server while you are in-game to prevent you from losing any data. Let us know if you did, though, so we can make sure that warning is working :-)
It's really slow and jerky for me, is it still an issue?
